Pascal Lamia is the head of the Reporting and Analysis Center for Information Assurance MELANI run by the Swiss government. He is also head of the Swiss Government CERT (GovCERT.ch) and is a lecturer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Art as well as the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Before that, between 2000 and 2008, he worked as an information security officer at the Federal IT Steering Unit (FITSU). He started his professional career in 1988 as a network engineer at Telekurs AG. He then joined „Die Mobiliar” where he worked as a software engineer until he started to work for the FITSU in 2000.

In his role as the head of the Reporting and Analysis Center for Information Assurance MELANI, Pascal Lamia is a frequent speaker at national and international security events and a sought-after interview partner in Swiss television and press.
