Jeroen van der Ham-de Vos
Jeroen van der Ham-de Vos is an associate professor at the University of Twente in the DACS group. He is intrigued by the concept of cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and especially the socio-technical angle of the problem-space around vulnerabilities. This can range from topics like coordinated vulnerability disclosure policies, vulnerability management in organisations, to ethics of cybersecurity and computer science in general.
Jeroen studied artificial intelligence during the AI depression, did his PhD on the topology of global optical networks long before there were cable-cutting submarines, and shifted his focus to cybersecurity in the early 2010s. In the cybersecurity field he is well-known for the contributions to policy development for coordinated vulnerability disclosure, professionalisation of incident response, through a code of ethics for incident response (EthicsfIRST).
