Ivano Somaini
Ivano Somaini is an expert in offensive security, social engineering, and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from ETH Zurich, where he specialised in information security. His work focuses on helping organisations better understand and manage digital risks through hands-on security assessments, real-world attack simulations, and engaging awareness sessions.
He is particularly known for translating complex cybersecurity threats into clear, actionable insights that support better decision-making at all levels of an organisation. His approach combines technical depth with strong communication, often using live demonstrations to make risks tangible and memorable.
In 2016, he specialised in OSINT under Mike Bazell. In 2024, he co-founded OSINT Switzerland, where he serves as Co-Chair and actively contributes to the development of the OSINT community.
