Christian Folini is a security engineer with twenty years of experience defending web applications and the infrastructure behind them. His work has increasingly moved from the technical trenches into the political arena: he is a vocal contributor to Swiss debates on e-voting, e-collecting and the governance of cybersecurity. He represents civil society on the steering committee of the National Cyberstrategy. A PhD in medieval history taught him to explain hard technical problems in plain language. As program chair, he curates the Swiss Cyber Storm lineup and moderates it every year.

Sarah Jamie Lewis

Executive Director of the Open Privacy Research Society

Sarah Jamie Lewis is the Executive Director of the Open Privacy Research Society, a non-profit research organisation dedicated to building privacy preserving systems that further empower marginalised communities. Sarah’s work is focused on consent, metadata resistance and decentralisation.

Sarah began her career as a government Computer Scientist and has also worked as a security engineer for Amazon, and as an independent researcher publishing reports on the Dark Web deanonymisation (via the OnionScan Project) and security of the IoT devices. Her book, Queer Privacy, documents how technology impacts marginalised and at-risk communities.

Dave is a Global Advisory CISO for Duo Security (now a Cisco Systems company). He is the founder of the security site Liquidmatrix Security Digest and cohost of the Liquidmatrix podcast.
