The Swiss Hacking Challenge 2024 has started
Great news for all young Swiss cybersecurity specialists: Qualifications for the Swiss national hacking team start this Friday, March 1, and will run through April 30 with the finals on July 13/14.
To join the Swiss Hacking Challenge (SHC) and compete for a place in the official team, you need to be aged 15-25 and be a Swiss citizen. However, everybody is free to enter the qualifiers just for fun.
The most successful partcipants in the qualifications will be chosen for the national team which will then participate in the European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC) in October in Turin, Italy. In last year’s ECSC, team Switzerland finished second – the highest placing for a Swiss national team so far.
You can find more about the SHC on their website.
The Swiss Hacking Challenge, Switzerland’s annual national hacking championship, is organized by the Swiss Cyber Storm association. Furthermore, the SHC is the official partner of ICT-Berufsbildung Schweiz for qualification in cybersecurity for participation in SwissSkills and WorldSkills.
